How do the initial review and interview form work?

Initial review is free and confidential. First describe the accident, relevant dates, potentially responsible parties, and injuries. The office may request clarification before asking for extensive records or arranging a consultation.

When the office emails your individual initial-interview form link, complete and submit it within fourteen (14) days after it is sent. This administrative window does not extend or suspend your claim’s legal deadlines.

Confirm that the form was submitted

The system sends an automatic confirmation after successful submission. If it does not arrive, check that you finished submitting and email the office to verify receipt. Saving answers or opening the link does not submit the form.

If two weeks pass without completion and submission, the individual link expires. Email the office for a new form. This rule applies to the link sent for your interview; it is not a deadline for visiting the website.

What is reviewed before a consultation

  • What happened, when, where, who was involved, and the allegedly negligent act or omission.
  • Available photographs, videos, reports, witnesses, medical records, and communications.
  • The connection between the accident and injuries, their severity, potential responsible parties, insurance, defenses, and deadlines.
  • The practical feasibility of accepting the matter, including time, resources, and possible experts.

Consultation and representation are separate steps

The office needs the completed form before arranging an initial video consultation and confirming the meeting. Submission does not guarantee an appointment, acceptance, or compensation.

A consultation, documents, and educational emails do not establish representation. Representation begins when the office accepts the matter and both parties sign the written agreement. Do not assume the office is sending demands, preserving evidence, or protecting deadlines while reviewing your inquiry.

If a deadline is approaching or evidence may disappear, identify the urgency and promptly seek advice without waiting for every record. If the office cannot assist, consult another lawyer promptly. For questions or a replacement link, email fvizcarrondo@fjvtlaw.com.

The answer for your situation depends on the facts and records. An inquiry does not suspend legal deadlines or guarantee that the office will accept the case.
