Identify what the document requires, who must act, and when. A favorable decision does not by itself show that services began or payment was processed. Track each obligation and its implementation.

Distinguish decisions and agreements

Section 300.152(c)(3) requires the State agency to resolve complaints alleging failure to implement a due-process decision. Written mediation and resolution-session agreements have enforcement rules under §§300.506(b)(7) and 300.510(d); forum and procedure depend on the document.

Prepare an implementation record

List every ordered service, period, amount, or action, alongside implementation dates, evidence, and outstanding items. For reimbursement, retain invoices, payment proof, and submission receipts. Do not change the decision’s dates or conditions when summarizing it.

If implementation is delayed or partial

Request a written explanation and document educational effects. A new deprivation may require considering compensatory services as well as compliance. We can review the decision and appropriate route; informal follow-up does not automatically suspend judicial-review deadlines.

The answer for your situation depends on the facts and records. An inquiry does not suspend legal deadlines or guarantee that the office will accept the case.
