Educational content from the office of Francisco J. Vizcarrondo. Free to read, without registration.
The initial consultation is free and confidential. First describe the care you question, who was involved, when it occurred, and the patient’s physical or clinical harm. The office may request a brief clarification before asking for extensive records.
Our practice focuses on possible departures from medical standards that caused substantial physical or clinical harm. An unpleasant experience, lack of empathy, or administrative problem does not by itself establish a claim the office can accept.
Individual form and confirmation
The office emails an initial-interview form link. Complete and submit it within fourteen (14) days after it is sent. Identify unknown information rather than inventing answers.
The system sends an automatic confirmation after successful submission. If it does not arrive, check that you submitted the form and ask the office to verify receipt. Saving answers does not submit them.
If two weeks pass without completion and submission, the individual link expires. Email for a replacement. These 14 days are an administrative form window; they do not suspend or extend legal deadlines.
The meeting and next steps
After receiving and reviewing your information, the office explains how to arrange a consultation if appropriate. It may be by telephone, video, or in person, depending on circumstances and availability. The form does not book an appointment or guarantee acceptance.
Review covers facts, providers, harm, records, insurance, forum, and dates. If further review is warranted, the file is organized and expert evaluation arranged. The free consultation does not include the expert’s fees.
Begin requesting relevant certified records promptly when the matter is proceeding toward evaluation. If the office first requested clarification of the conduct and harm, respond before sending extensive records. In either situation, seek deadline advice without waiting for the complete file.
What educational emails mean
The educational series is a free courtesy during evaluation. It is not an individual opinion about your case and does not mean representation has been accepted.
Representation requires office acceptance and a signed written agreement. Do not assume demands have been sent, deadlines interrupted, or work undertaken without express confirmation. For urgent medical needs, seek appropriate care without waiting for a legal response. For questions or a replacement link, email fvizcarrondo@fjvtlaw.com.
The answer for your situation depends on the facts and records. An inquiry does not suspend legal deadlines or guarantee that the office will accept the case.
